After testing 15 self-emptying robot vacuums, I can tell you the base really does make a difference if you hate emptying dustbins every few days. Prices here run from about $180 to $1,190, so there is something for most budgets, whether you want a basic model or one that also mops and washes its own pads. When choosing, think about how long the base holds debris, how well it handles pet hair and carpets, and whether you want extra features like mopping or self-cleaning. These are the ones I would actually recommend to a friend.
