After looking at 15 options, I put together this collection of automatic pet feeders with cameras and apps for anyone who wants to check in on their pet and drop a meal from their phone. The prices range from about $48 to $150, and the biggest things to compare are camera resolution, whether the app works on 5G Wi-Fi, and how many pets the feeder can recognize. If you have one cat, a basic 1080P model is plenty, but for multi-cat homes or dogs, look for upgraded recognition and a larger food capacity. These are the ones I would actually trust to keep mealtime on schedule when I am stuck at work or away for the weekend.
