DraftKings is offering $150 in bonus bets to new customers who place a first wager of just $5 on Thursday Night Football, as the Dallas Cowboys host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at AT&T Stadium to open Week 5 of the NFL season.
The promotion requires only a $5 qualifying bet on the game's outcome, spread, or player props. Win or lose, the $150 in bonus bets is credited to the user's account. The offer is available to new DraftKings customers who have not previously registered on the platform.
Tampa Bay enters the matchup at 3-1, while Dallas sits at 2-2 after a Week 4 loss. The Cowboys are favored at home, where they have historically performed well against NFC South opponents. The game kicks off at 8:15 p.m. ET and is broadcast nationally on Prime Video.
SportsLine expert Thomas Casale said the matchup favors the home team. "The Bucs are the type of team Dallas typically rolls at home," Casale said.
DraftKings is also promoting a same-game parlay combining three picks for Thursday's game at +500 odds, meaning a $100 wager would return $500 in profit if all three legs hit. Same-game parlays allow bettors to combine multiple wagers on a single game into one ticket with higher potential payouts, though all selections must win for the bet to cash.
The Cowboys have won four of their last five home games against Tampa Bay. Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott has thrown for 1,072 yards and five touchdowns through four games, while Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield has passed for 1,013 yards and eight touchdowns with a 70.5% completion rate.
Thursday's game is the first of two prime-time matchups this week. The NFL's Week 5 slate continues Sunday with 13 games, including the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs visiting the Minnesota Vikings.
DraftKings operates in more than 20 states where online sports betting is legal. Bonus bets typically carry a seven-day expiration window and cannot be withdrawn as cash — they must be wagered, and only the winnings from those bonus bets are withdrawable. Users must be 21 or older and located in a state where DraftKings is licensed.
The Buccaneers have covered the spread in three of their four games this season. Dallas is 1-3 against the spread in 2025. Kickoff temperatures in Arlington, Texas, are forecast near 82 degrees with clear skies, and AT&T Stadium's retractable roof is expected to be open.
