Celestyal Cruises is discounting select 2026 and 2027 Mediterranean sailings by up to 60% under its Iconic Sale, a promotion the Greece-based line is running through December 31, 2026. The savings apply to outside stateroom occupancy for two, the cruise line said.

The 60% figure represents the deepest discount Celestyal has advertised on its 2026 and 2027 schedule, and it covers voyages across the Greek Isles and eastern Mediterranean, the company's core routes. At that rate, a seven-night itinerary that would normally sell for roughly $1,400 per person drops to about $560 before taxes and fees, based on listed brochure fares.

Travelers who can depart on short notice have a second path to savings. Celestyal regularly discounts unsold cabins on imminent departures by 30% to 40%, a practice common among cruise lines looking to fill ships in the final weeks before sailing. The line currently lists reduced fares on October and November 2026 itineraries aboard two ships, the Celestyal Journey and the Celestyal Discovery.

The two vessels serve different corners of the region. Celestyal Journey, which entered the fleet in 2023 after a refit, sails seven-night round trips from Athens that include stops in Thessaloniki, Kusadasi, and the Greek islands of Rhodes, Crete, and Santorini. Celestyal Discovery, added in 2024, runs shorter three- and four-night itineraries aimed at travelers pairing a cruise with a land stay in Greece.

Celestyal positions itself as a mid-market alternative to the large-ship lines, with fares that bundle meals, gratuities, and select shore excursions rather than charging for them separately. That pricing model makes the headline discount more meaningful than it might appear on a line where drinks packages and port fees add hundreds of dollars to a final bill.

The sale's December 31, 2026 end date gives travelers more than a year to book, but the deepest discounts are typically tied to specific departure dates and cabin categories that sell out first. Inside cabins and suites are excluded from the 60% offer, which is limited to outside staterooms.

Celestyal maintains a dedicated deals page on its website that it updates as new promotions are added, separate from the main booking engine. The line has not disclosed how many cabins are set aside for the Iconic Sale or whether the promotion will be extended past the December 2026 deadline.

Mediterranean cruising has grown more competitive on price as capacity in the region expands. Several lines have added Greek Isles itineraries for 2026, giving travelers more leverage to compare fares before committing.
