Fox Sports Drops Joy Taylor Amid Lawsuit and Ratings Fallout

Joy Taylor, a prominent Fox Sports host, has been let go from the network after nearly a decade, following the cancellation of her talk show Speak along with two other programs, Breakfast Ball and The Facility. The network announced these programming changes as part of a larger lineup revamp.

Taylor’s departure comes amid controversy tied to a sexual battery lawsuit filed by former Fox Sports hairstylist Noushin Faraji against ex-executive Charlie Dixon. The lawsuit alleges misconduct involving Dixon and claims that Taylor had relationships with Dixon and fellow host Emmanuel Acho to advance her career. Taylor has denied all allegations and was off-air briefly earlier this year during the fallout.

According to multiple reports, low ratings were also a significant factor in Fox Sports’ decision to cancel the three shows. Taylor, 38, co-hosted Speak alongside Paul Pierce and Keyshawn Johnson.

In a June 2025 interview on The Breakfast Club, Taylor acknowledged the emotional toll of recent events and confirmed she was negotiating a contract renewal, which ultimately did not materialize.

Fox Sports has yet to release an official statement but plans to introduce new programming in place of the canceled shows.
