OneSkin has cut the price of its OS-01 Peptide Face Rich Cream by 20%, dropping the anti-aging moisturizer from $89 to $71.20 — one of the few discounts the company has offered on the product since its launch. The sale was reported by E! News, which noted that markdowns on the cream are rare.
The cream is built around OS-01, a synthetic peptide the company says targets senescent cells — aging cells that stop dividing but remain in tissue and release inflammatory compounds. OneSkin was founded in 2016 by a team of Brazilian scientists, including CEO Carolina Reis Oliveira, who hold doctorates in stem cell biology and immunology. The company's research on the peptide was published in the journal npj Aging in 2023.
At $71.20, the cream costs about 20 cents per milliliter less than its standard price, a difference that matters for a product sold in a category where most buyers repurchase monthly. OneSkin sells the cream as a standalone item and inside subscription bundles, which typically carry their own pricing.
The broader anti-aging skin care market has grown crowded with peptide-based products in recent years, as brands race to market ingredients that claim to address cellular aging rather than just surface wrinkles. Retinol and vitamin C remain the most clinically documented anti-aging ingredients, while peptide research — including OneSkin's — is newer and has mostly been conducted in laboratory settings rather than large human trials.
Consumers comparing costs should note that the discount applies to the 50-milliliter jar. OneSkin's site lists the cream as its best-selling product, and the company positions the OS-01 peptide as its proprietary ingredient, meaning no competing brand can replicate the exact formulation.
The sale price brings the cream in line with mid-tier prestige moisturizers from brands like Drunk Elephant and Tatcha, which generally retail between $60 and $90. Whether the discount signals a permanent price adjustment or a limited promotion has not been announced by OneSkin.
